Billie Elish is an American singer and songwriter. Her first single, "Ocean Eyes", went viral and accumulated more than one hundred ninety and four million plays on Spotify since February two thousand nineteen. Her first EP Don't Smile at Me was released in August two thousand seventeen. The EP was certified Gold by the RIAA. , five of the songs were also certified by the RIAA (four Gold, one Platinum). Following the success of the EP, Apple Music named Eilish as their new Up Next artist a month later, in September two thousand seventeen. Her first studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was launched in March two thousand nineteen.

In artistic careers, as in love, age does not seem to matter and in two thousand nineteen - in the era of streaming - much less does it matter whether or not you have a published album. But there are those who go overboard, who stretch these contemporary standards to the extreme.
